Rallies are held on the first Sunday of the month and we generally alternate between flat and poles/jumping lessons month to month, depending on demand.
Our pool of fantastic instructors include Marilyn Smithett, Leanne Williams, Sally Francis, Sam Bartlett, Ian Balfour... and we are always interested in trying new talent, so suggestions are always welcome.
Location
The Upper Beaconsfield Recreation Reserve is located on Burton Road, Upper Beaconsfield (Melways Reference 210K10)
UBRC's grounds are part of the Upper Beaconsfield Recreation Reserve, which we share with the Upper Beaconsfield Pony Club, as well as local cricket and football clubs.
We have two full size arenas and one smaller one, plus a varied cross country course in the surrounding bushland. There is plenty of parking for floats and cars at the oval (entry opposite Morris Road), and also near the clubrooms (entry off Burton Road).
Our cosy clubrooms are heated and air conditioned and have been host to many gourmet post-rally lunches!
New members
New members are welcome to come and observe a rally, or participate in one as a 'taster'. You must pay the rally fee and membership (fully refundable if you choose not to join) and complete a HRCAV insurance waiver in order to ride.
